Dyno Tuning
All modern vehicles use an Engine Control Unit (ECU) chip which controls the engine operation. Manufacturers provide a “one-size-fits-all” engine profile, which has to work in everything from below freezing to desert mid-day temperatures, from sea level to the tops of mountains, and so on.
A completely non-intrusive upgrade is to reprogram your ECU so it’s tailored to your specific engine and driving requirements. To do this, the car is placed on a dynamometer, or rolling road, and the engine is measured as it drives. Once the engine profile is taken, our expert technicians create custom settings and upload them to the ECU.
Dyno tuning is a great way to improve your engine performance and fuel economy, and is completely non-destructive and reversible.
